About the conference

The International Solar Eclipse Conference, founded by Patrick Poitevin is organised since 2000 in every non-central-eclipse year. Previously the conference was held in Antwerp (BE-2000), Milton Keynes (UK-2004), Los Angeles (USA-2007), New Delhi (IN-2011) and New Mexico (USA-2014).

The sixth Solar Eclipse Conference will be held in 2018 at the Cosmodrome (Genk, Belgium).

The International Solar Eclipse Conference brings solar eclipse enthusiasts, professionals and amateurs together so they can share experience, information and knowledge. Not only during lectures but also during informal events.
